The Ports Direct service has been developed with the cruise passengers needs as our top priority at all times. This unique and efficient service allows passengers and cruise agents to securely login and make new bookings at any time of the day.
You can search historical bookings within the system to keep a track of your transfer, and download confirmation of booking and invoice. As well as downloading and printing these documents, an automated booking confirmation will also be emailed to you when your booking is made.
The Ports Direct system uses postal code feeds into the system in order to "map" the client's requirements and offer up a price. The price given enables a live booking to secure the required transfers which are handled via a local taxi operator to pre-determined coach "hubs" (as established by the system as part of the pre-search criteria). Once the relevant hub is selected, the final transfer (from hub to cruise port by coach) can then be calculated and the booking transaction completed.
We provide a door-to-port service for cruises from 71 hubs around England and Wales to the following ports: Dover, Falmouth, Harwich and Southampton.
The standard baggage allowance is 1 piece of hand baggage and 1 suitcase for each passenger. Additional luggage is charged at £5 and £35 (each way) for hand baggage and suitcases respectively.
Lightweight and foldable wheelchairs can also be carried at £35 (each way), please count a wheelchair as a suitcase for booking purposes and include it in your total. However, Ports Direct cannot transport passengers that are completely wheelchair bound, please contact Coach Direct on 0843 0843 001 for a quotation.
Vehicle size is dependent upon the number of passengers to be transported to the cruise ship. In cases of smaller vehicles being used, these may not have executive coach facilities such as toilet, reclining seats or drinks machine.
